Fort 6 belonged to the forts belt around Antwerp after a design by H.A. Brialmont, built in the period 1860-1865.
The buildings of the fort are now owned by the University of Antwerp and are used by some student associations.
There is not much information about fort 6. The only thing we have been able to find is that there is apparently an A4 sheet hanging at a gate, stating that children were shot in 1915. But on the internet this is nowhere really confirmed.
We have felt and recorded a lot of activity in an underground part of the fort.
